Located in San Francisco, Dickinson Bransford provides strategic counsel to evaluate options, advising on mergers & acquisitions (e.g., sale, management buy-out or buy-in, shareholder buy-out, succession planning, inter-generational transfer, private equity recapitalization, growth by acquisition), raising equity capital or securing debt financing, and building value for a future transaction.

 

His advisory work brings the perspective of senior-level corporate operating experience and consulting. He has been a founder, co-owner, Vice President of Corporate Strategy, Assistant Vice President of Marketing and Product Manager.

 

He was a co-owner of ABI Business Sales, Mergers & Acquisitions, advising companies in several industries, but focusing on healthcare and technology-driven markets such as medical devices, clinical research information technology and computer/electronics.

 

He holds the Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor (CM&AA) credential through the Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors (AMAA) and is a long term member of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG).

 

Mr. Bransford serves on the Board of Directors of a U.S. Department of Energy technology licensee, and is forming a joint venture with one of the largest global companies in its industry.

 

He holds a B.S. from the University of Texas, Austin, and an M.B.A. in International Business from California State University, College of Business and Economics (Honors), studying in the U.S., Thailand, Vietnam & Austria.  He has undertaken post-graduate studies at the University of California, Berkeley and completed an Executive Education program in corporate strategy at Harvard Business School.
