ANDREW W. HALLIDAY
Located in Albany, New York, Andrew Halliday couples legal and business training with owner and operator experience founding and running businesses. He is uniquely positioned as a resource to owners confronted with the challenging business and personal issues that present in Family businesses contemplating generational succession and exit planning. As an attorney with deep experience serving the wealth management and estate planning needs of high net worth families, he brings more than two decades of experience in public, private and alternative investments, wealth preservation and transfer planning and execution.
Mr. Halliday was a founding partner in Halliday & Gorman, a law firm that provided estate planning, estate administration, and trust counseling to its clients.
Previously, Mr. Halliday was the President and Chairman of a Halliday Financial where he led efforts to substantially grow the firm's geographic footprint, wealth management, financial planning, tax planning and investment banking programs. The Investment Banking unit was active in the placement of more than $2 billion of debt and equity securities.
He is an active contributor in any community he graces, and his participation includes service as the Treasurer of the Tech Valley High School Foundation Board and Vice Chairman of the Northern Rivers Family Services Board. He is a member of YPO (Young Presidents Organization) and currently serves as the Learning Officer for the Global Financial Services Network of YPO (a Group with 2,600 members worldwide). Mr. Halliday will chair the Financial Services Network of YPO through 2019.
Mr. Halliday received his BA in English from Colgate University in 1991 and his Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law in 1994.
