Charley Pope brings more than 20 years of transactional, advisory and financial services industry experience as an Investment Banker working with Companies, Owners and Investors as well as Pension Funds, Hedge Funds, Asset Managers, Insurance Companies and Compliance practitioners.
He spent five years at Charles W. Cammack Associates, a Pension Consulting Firm where he had responsibilities in sales, investor relations and compliance. Mr. Pope’s background also includes time as Marketing and Compliance Director for New York City based RIA Halsey Advisory Management, LLC and its associated hedge fund after which he joined Prudential Securities, Inc. as a Financial Advisor in New York City. With the disruption of 9/11, Mr. Pope moved to the MetLife Office of Mellon Advisor Services, Inc. as a Financial Advisor and subsequently to E1 Asset Management, Inc.’s Wall Street office as a Managing Director. Thereafter, he spent 10 years as Branch Office Manager for Westport, Connecticut based Source Capital Group, Inc. in New York City.
Mr. Pope holds an A.B. from Princeton University where he was an aspiring D-I athlete. During his tenure at college Mr. Pope decided to quit sports to take up the study of ballet. Mr. Pope spent 14 years as a dancer performing principal and soloist roles at Boston Ballet, Tulsa Ballet Theatre, Des Moines Ballet, Garden State Ballet, Granite State Ballet and more. He had the honor of studying with teachers at the School of American Ballet and The Bolshoi Ballet.
