Shivani Dasani brings 10 years of investment banking and capital markets experience including structuring, originating, executing and marketing public equity offerings. In her previous roles, she advised companies across a spectrum of maturities, from pre-IPO to multiple rounds of public equity financing. She also helped facilitate monetization events for portfolio companies backed by leading venture capital and private equity firms.
Shivani started her career at Goldman Sachs and subsequently held various positions within Capital Markets Origination at J.P. Morgan, Bank of America, Wells Fargo and BTIG. Shivani has helped raise more than $80bn in capital across 150 active book-run-transactions.
Her background allows her to provide clients with expert transaction execution and deep market knowledge as well as key buy-side / sell-side relationships. Specifically, Shivani focuses on initial public offerings, marketed follow-on offerings, secondary offerings, block trades and private investment stake sales. She leverages her extensive ECM knowledge and network to serve as an advocate for issuers in order to ensure optimal market execution. While Shivani is sector agnostic she has extensive experience working with companies in Healthcare, Technology and Industrials.
In her free time, Shivani serves as an expert and mentor at The Hult Prize - the world's largest social entrepreneurship accelerator backed by the United Nations and The Hult Family. She helps advise and launch disruptive social enterprises from across the globe that are impact centered, profit minded, and market driven. At The Hult Prize, she guides start-ups through the competition to solve the annual challenge topic, selected by former U.S. President Bill Clinton, in order to ultimately win $1mm in seed capital.
Shivani received a B.A. with honors in Economics from Davidson College and is a member of the Omicron Delta Epsilon Honor Society and Phi Beta Delta Honors Society. She holds Series 7, 79 and 63 securities licenses and resides in New York City.
