Caitlyn Hong is an investment banker serving the creative industry. She joined Mid-Market Securities from Los Angeles-based Evalla Advisors, a boutique firm specializing in Marketing, Media, and e-Commerce, where she led the industry research and executed all aspects of the Merger and Acquisition deals. Previously she worked as an investment banking associate for Bentley Associates, a NY-based firm with long-term connections with three of the most prominent Wall Street firms focusing on Mergers and Acquisitions in Software, Services, and Real Estate.

 

Ms. Hong is the co-founder and finance director of Cointegra, a SaaS Tech/Media/Gaming firm that is part of the Columbia Startup Lab, New York. She was the head of business development, finance, research, operation, and marketing functions. Across her tenure, she has managed to build rapport with industry executives, entrepreneurs, and media personalities. She is also the core software developer for the company’s trading strategy simulation platform and gaming bot.

 

She worked as an Audit Manager with J.M. Huber Corporation, one of the largest private family-owned businesses in the United States, where she headed the department’s innovation and drove the global risk intelligence data analytics platform from vision to implementation. She also served as a trusted advisor and delivered impactful strategic/financial/operational/IT projects across 22 countries. Prior to joining J.M. Huber, she was a Senior Consultant at Deloitte & Touché where she conducted financial audits and performed IT and operational risk evaluations for 30+ companies across technology, gaming/sports betting, bank & credit union, and retail.

 

Ms. Hong graduated with an M.B.A degree jointly offered by Columbia Business School (Dean’s List), London Business School, and the University of Hong Kong. She also earned a Master’s Degree in Computer Information Systems, a Master’s Degree in Accounting and a Graduate Certificate in Women's Studies from Georgia State University.

 

Ms. Hong is a Certified Public Accountant and the recipient of the Ethel Woodruff Draper Research Fellowship for the Development of Young Women.
