Complementing the Mid-Market Securities Team with a most unique array of talents, experiences, industry involvement and perspective, Richard Cameron Walker (Cam) couples traditional finance experience as a Wealth Manager and Succession (business owners seeking liquidity and diversification) and Estate Planning resource, with intimate involvement in the Entertainment and Real Estate Industries. His moral compass derives from deep religious beliefs and values, serving as a Church and Community Leader for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormon) and as an Inter Faith emissary. Cam serves as Stake President for the San Fernando Valley, CA (north Hollywood/Burbank area) overseeing 6-9 Bishops with numerous Chapels involving several thousand members. His nationwide network includes Religious, Community, Business and Political Leaders.

Cam’s eclectic career began in the Entertainment Industry with work as Choreographer for many shows, including The Donny and Marie Show and The Cher Show and in Advertising with Commercials. He managed, produced, and choreographed many dance groups that appeared on TV and toured throughout the United States and taught dance at the renowned Dupree Dance Academy. When Prime Time Variety Shows were starting to be replaced by Sitcoms such as All in the Family and Happy Days, Cam moved to the Financial side of the business.

The highlight of his early years was meeting Patsy, his wife who he married in 1975. A fellow Entertainer, she and her sisters --- The Clingers/Clinger Sisters) --- were Regulars on several TV programs, including Andy Williams, Danny Kaye, and The Smothers Brothers, and appeared in dozens of others as Guests. They earned recording contracts with many top record labels and were Headliners in Las Vegas.
Cam transitioned into Finance and Wealth Management working at New York Life and New England Life before joining Merrill Lynch as an Investment Manager. Initially his Client base was drawn from many of the top names in the Entertainment and Business World. This was a natural progression, facilitated by the location of his office in the heart of Beverly Hills; where his service and contribution to the community was recognized and rewarded with being named Honorary Mayor of Beverly Hills in 2007, by then Mayor Jimmy Delshad.
Through the years, Cam has worked with many community, national and international nonprofit entities and on a plethora of Inter Faith Projects; most noteworthy, was serving as a member of a Strategic Dialogue Board in the Middle East, of Co-Chaired by Mikhail Gorbachev and the Crown Prince of Jordan. This enabled introduction to and work with many World Leaders, both Politically and on the International Business Front; supplementing Cam’s knowledge and experience with abilities to achieve significant access.
As a Leader in his Church, he has been and continues to be involved in a myriad of Interfaith Projects, helping individuals, families and communities of all religions, cultures and backgrounds to come together in creating a more positive, and compassionate environment for all.
