Chad Sokoloff is a 360° financial professional with more than 16 years of industry experience. Mr. Sokoloff began his financial career as a member of the New York Mercantile Exchange(NYMEX) and New York Board of Trade (NYBOT). On the trading floor of the exchanges, he analyzed and managed commodity options and futures portfolios in the energy, metals and agriculture markets. Risk management and mitigation became the cornerstone of his career.
An early adopter of electronic trading, Mr. Sokoloff formulated proprietary digital strategies to build futures and options positions for his clients’ portfolios as well as his own. He founded his own commodity fund and was the sole principal of the general partner. He raised capital for both his commodity fund and commodity trade advisory to deploy into his strategies. In 2013, his continued out-performance of the markets earned him awards from Barclay Hedge in the discretionary and diversified portfolio categories.
His passion for strategic planning and risk management led him to join Alliance Financial Group, Park Avenue Securities and Guardian Life Insurance Company. His expertise includes advising high net worth clients who are domiciling in Florida as well as family and business planning. As a trusted advisor and consultant to multigenerational wealth, he implemented innovative and personalized planning in order to reduce risk and grow wealth which including insurance and equity portfolios. In 2015, he was names new agent of the year and won awards for outstanding client service and relationships.
Mr. Sokoloff also consulted for businesses regarding protection, growth, exit planning and coordination with their personal plans. He formulated high end benefit packages in order to retain key employees.
He holds his Series 3, 7 and 66 licenses as well as his life and health license.
Mr. Sokoloff was born and raised in New York. He is a proud graduate of the University of Florida and currently resides South Florida with his wife and three boys.
